I was preparing a cold brew in the kitchen this morning, watching the yard through the window.
It suddenly felt like a magic Colors of the Wind moment, where leafs of different colors were falling slowly but constantly, like slow, colorful rain.
My first thought was, Wow. Autumn is gorgeous. I wish it was always Autumn.
But then another thought came to mind: We’d run out of leafs and new ones wouldn’t be growing. That’s why we need all the seasons.
Doesn’t mean we can’t have a favorite season. But it’s good to understand that each season is necessary.
Also reminds me of a card I read earlier this week. I decided I’d start pulling a random card every week for some inspiration I can apply to that week’s plans. And this is what I got.
If flowers know exactly when and how to bloom, then you do too.
This goes back to seasons. So, worth thinking about what season of life I am in, and what I should be getting ready for.
